About
Dr Theresa Meintjes hails from a farm near Reitz, a small town in the Free State.
After finishing her Matric at Reitz High School with six distinctions, she afterwards completed her studies in Medicine at the University of the Free State.
She developed her love for Urology during her community service in Kimberley Hospital, and completed her post-graduate studies in Urology at the University of Stellenbosch. She was awarded the College of Medicine Lionel B Goldsmith medal for distinction in the Fellowship Final examination, a highly esteemed award.
Dr Meintjes practices in the private sector at Durbanville Mediclinic, with a special interest in female urology. She is married for six years and have two lovely children, and finds it challenging to balance being a full time Urologist, Mom and a wife, but it is definitely worth every second.
Her motto in life is: “If you can dream it, you can achieve it.” Her life is devoted to God that always gives her strength with the knowledge that he will always provide.
