About

Dr Ndoye completed her medical studies at University Cheikh Anta Diop De Dakar in 2006. First rank at the residency admission exam, she spent 5 years training in urology surgery, at General Hospital of Grand Yoff (HOGGY) from 2004 to 2009. She had done international training as a fellow at France on female urology, at Maryland USA NIH/NCI on cancer epidemiology and prevention, and at Pittsburgh / USA on pediatric reconstructive urology surgery. After being the chief of the urology department at Ziguinchor regional Hospital she joined the academic urology department of HOGGY. In addition to endoscopic urology, her main, clinical activities are oriented on reconstructive urology for female, kids and male.

As an international consultant on VVF surgery and female genital mutilation she has achieved many national and international training workshops throughout Africa since 2008 on behalf many nonprofit organizations like UNFPA, WAHA, and AMREF…. She is keenly motivated in the area of investigation and has made notable contribution to urologic literature. Spending one year as a research fellow at University of California San Francisco, strengthens her passion in translational research, in the fields of environmental health, public policy and social change.

Dr Ndoye is member of many scientific societies as American Urological Association (AUA), African Organization for Research and Training in Cancer (AORTIC) and Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU) and did a lot of international medical conference as a speaker. Being member of board of the AFEMS (Association Of female doctor of Senegal) and ASBEF (Senegalese Association for the welfare Family, member of IPPF (International Planned Parenthood federation planning) , she strongly  advocate for youth development, women’s health and empowerment. She is also an honor Member of LISCA Senegalese League against Cancer. She speaks Wolof (native language), French (official language) and English well enough.
